Played alot of Silu rips and they all got 5.1 or dts so prob is posible,. (DAH)

Also using windows mediacenter as media server the dts and 5.1 sound comes out stereo,. :(

Also was wandering is there a file size limit,.. mb's>?

Don't know much about surround sound, but does anything sent out 5.1 audio?

There is somewhat a size limit, but it's generally quite large.  The PS3 option on Xvid4psp probably handles all the necessary precautions so you won't need to bother.
That's just it,. i onlyt see "MP4 PS3 or Xbox360" setting,. but does't suport dts or 5.1

@Zingaburga yeb all the movies i tried with media server were either 5.1 or dts,. but they only play stereo on the PS3
Use h.264 if you're encoding for PS3. No reason to use XviD.

EDIT: If the PS3 only plays stereo anyway, then you may as well down convert.

i guess i tried htis before i will try again,.

either the sound or the video or both was't suported in all my conversion's sofar,.

i like to use xvid4psp because of all the settings but if does't convert to ps3 with 5.1 or dts its linda useless,.

also can anyone tell me whot "Extreme, Turbo & ultra" means they all sound the same to me,. ;p

h.264>?

EDIT|: @Assassinator  the PS3 plays 5.1 and dts,.
Haven't heard of DTS in MP4.  You'll need to convert to 6 channel AAC, if Xvid4psp gives the option.

a52 is an AC3 decoder.  And don't use VLC for this kind of info.  That's what MediaInfo is designed for.

I think it's supported

So just encode your video, demux your audio, and mux it together into MP4.
