Does anyone recall that rediculous RAM usage thread I posted a while back?

Yeah well take a look at this.



Mhmm. I have to terminate and restore tabs for typing to work properly, and restore RAM order, or else - keeps freezing up.

The only problem I have with Firefox..

I've noticed Firefox has memory leaks occasionally.

Chrome for the win.

meh i compare ie7, chrome and firefox memory usage, and ie7 still uses the least memory among the 3, firefox the most memory eaten up

Yeah, but IE is a piece of shi‎‏t. I'd rather use more memory, than use sh‎‏it to browse.

I've been using firefox port through my usb stick and it runs very smoothly.

that's insane ..

firefox is eating up 178k with 2 tabs open atm

though at home.. it consumes 400k++ with the same scenario
