I don't particularly trust Ayako either. I'll wait for Eclipse... Wait, Eclipse is actually doing this right?
Gay, Eclipse is not doing it, at least I heard.
Hmmm... which to get? Will download both (Ayako & Mazui) and see which is better.

for those long series, it best to read the manga. normally the quality is either the same or better for the manga.

Watched some stuff...
Kampfer - Very "typical" for the type of show it is? I agree with Heartless that it's probably going to get crappy later... I mean the cheezy storyline...
The Sacred Blacksmith - Was pretty ordinary, not something you haven't seen before.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun - 1st episode didn't impress me as much as Index's 1st did back then. It's alright, but I have serious doubts about the storyline... Graphics was good as it was with Index as well.
11eyes - It was... interesting... and pretty awesome. It's the type of show that interests me, so I'll most likely be watching this, unless the next few episodes turn out to be really bad. Going to be swapping groups however, probably going with Shinji (.ts encode with crunchy rips).
Sora no Otoshimono - That episode was actually way better than I expected (I expected it to be poo poo as hell). But the future doesn't look bright judging by the plot...
Fast scrolled through Seitokai, looks like a slapstick comedy sort of thing?

Would depend on your taste. I actually think you'll like Seitokai. ProperBritish would like Sora no Otoshimino.
Talking about crunchy rips... it's actually extremely easy, and doesn't require much effort or skill. Wee can do our own crunchy rips if anyone's up for it. Would require... a typesetter, and an encoder.
Timing - Can practically be 'borrowed' off horriblesubs (they're direct crunchy rips, video and everything). Otherwise, wee can OCR it off crunchy roll directly. Worse case scenario, timing it yourself is still pretty damn easy.
Typesetting - Just use simple softsubbed typesetting, it's all the rage these days, and not too difficult to do.
Encoding - Transport streams are now becoming more and more available (even appearing on tosho) unlike a few years back when you needed cappers.
So if I encode (don't doubt me, I won't screw up), wee effectively only need a typesetter, and that's it.

You do mean Signs and spoon right? Blah I can't be fudgeed with that stuff but it depends on the series I suppose.
You suggesting wee rip HorribleSubs Cruncyrip/Timing Subs?
I donmai that but I'd also not mind doing optimizing (timefails) and looking through the translation (Editing).
Nyan.

If I could be bothered doing the typesetting I would be soloing this stuff myself (like what CommieRips does).
See, I'm really slack these days, and don't feel like doing much.
Senseito7 Wrote:You suggesting wee rip HorribleSubs Cruncyrip/Timing Subs?
If my understanding is correct, HorribleSubs uses a script the guy wrote to directly rip crunchy, they don't do any timing or encoding of their own. So their stuff is pretty much exactly the same as crunchy, but more accessible and have subtitles in a convenient .donkey format.
Otherwise directly rip from crunchy's streams. That would mean recording it down (I'm pretty sure they are softsubbed using flash, and the subs are encrypted, so you'll have to screen record), OCR-ing the subs out, and then fixing any possible OCR errors.

Won't need to edit anything. As for fixing timefails... possibly, depending how good the crunchy timing is.
And is anyone else interested? Heartless? Next season anyway, I'll have nicer internet by then (upgrading soon).
