ive tried to set up my network
when you boot CS:S, open the console with the ` key and type (when i have a game up)
sometimes connecting this way will work and normal connection does not

you shouldnt have your own network. you should be connected to EPGaming... lol.
but yeah, that method should work just fine.

tried forcing hamachi to load first, wee all set up forwarded ports, separate protocols for the games, nothing...

sounds like you can't get it setup because it works 100% fine when its working properly.
also, I'm going to d/l CS:S Source off Steamless, and see if I can run it.

Sensei => ~430
roberth => ~390
xitherun => ~200
ProperBritish => ~370
Zinga => ~80 (he's not on any more, but I remember it's around that)
Playing FPS' will suck with 400 ping.
RTS' doesn't matter as much though.

Wee'll have to see what FPS wee actually want to play.
If wee're gonna play CS:S I'd imagine wee'd do it on official server anyway -.-
