My lappy has a lightscribe drive and Im curious to try it out.

What's the best software for doing lightscribing? Would Nero do the job?
do you have lightscribe DVD's? i think you need one of them

Point taken, thanks for reminding me :P
Nero or the free template printer both work fine.  Just remember to set the high contrast setting in the Lightscribe control panel.

But IMO, LS discs aren't worth the premium you pay.
i just realized i have lightscribe too. eh, im happy drawing on the disks with a magic marker
I have one and created about 3 lightscribe labels in the past 6 months. 20 minutes to create a label is ridiculous. like mentioned above, a marker gets it done.
Yeah been wanting to try out lightscribe, I have it now but I will wait for a reason to use it.

In the mean time SHARPIE is my friend

They have more than one use, too!
Use them to write, use them to draw! Then stick them up your nose and get high, no snorting with a straw!

also check the colors on the lightscribes... most common around here are a gold color.... takes a bit of time to burn a pic onto a disc but its much better that a marker... well i have crappy hand writing but you know lol
