its not ip based. To connect i have to connect to the school's proxy which is the one with the filter.
proxy.tuhsd.k12.az.us but it can only be accessed while connected to the network it seems

Err... Lolwut?

Peerguardian blocks IP addresses... what does that have to do with bypassing internet filters?

EDIT: Mickey got there 1st.
Mickey Wrote:Yeah ssh tunneling failed Facepalm I can't get it to connect, damn school proxy Erk i can do it from home but it times out at school when i don't enter the proxy and when i do i get a 403 error (i believe)
Are you doing it through port 443 - ie SSH server set up on port 443?
If so, can you https://<your ip here> in a browser?

Yah i set the port to D443
I can't even connect to the ssh server
Both the client and host must be going through port 443.
Can you connect to a webserver on your computer?

Try disabling your SSH server and get a webserver to listen on HTTPS and confirm you can access a https:// page on your computer from school.
did you even try https://www.freedur.com/ or http://www.skydur.com/

trust me these are the best solutions, my school has pretty awesome secruity :/ but this app makes it look like a kitty :D

"Freedur will be available very soon, please stayed tuned and follow us on twitter."
Can't get it

Ssh tunneling won't work, the proxy doesn't let me connect to your server DM :/
Is there a way i could host a proxy on my webserver? That way I can access it cause my server isn't blocked

Im sure there are WebProxy scripts out there..... cause I doubt you have shell access... do you?

Firstly, does HTTPS on your computer work?
That is, set up a webserver and set up SSL/HTTPS on it.  Ensure that the server is up by accessing https://127.0.0.1/ using your web browser (note, you probably will get a security certificate warning).
Once you've got that working, let the web server listen on external addresses (and make sure port 443 is forwarded by your router) and see if you can access it from school (obviously 127.0.0.1 won't be the correct address).

If you can access HTTPS on the school computer, it means that port 443 is not blocked by the proxy, assuming a transport layer firewall.

SSH is the best.  There are other tunnels like ICMP tunnels if your school allows ICMP packets through (you can test by doing a ping google.com ).  However large amounts of ICMP packets can be somewhat suspicious.

yeah 443 works I've tried before
My school's tech people aren't smart enough to care about that -_-
The ssh server is set to 443 but i still get the 503 error :/
