Mothers day came the arrival of a 42" and 47" LG LCD TV...
Father's day *a week early mind you* brought me a canon rebel T1i camera in anticipation of our new baby girl coming to us near the end of september..

Haha nice job on your new SLR. Don't forget that one has video.
Also what lens/es do you have?
You may want to look into the 50mm f1.8 for nice indoor shots without the need for flash.

just the standard lens that came with it :-/  18-55

the reason i got it was for the video capability..and can i say WOW...720p@30fps looks SMOOOOOOTH!!!!   :)

lenses for christmas or birthday :)  (which is december and january respectively)

the worst part of the camera..there are SOOO many features and abilities, but at auto everything the images look SO damn good already compared to my 5 year old Sony T1...which i got for its pocket size and 640x480 video to take ot the skateboard park.

I'll be taking Grazzy off your hands.

Yeah I have that lens too as it came with my 450d.
It's actually not bad stopped down to f8 REALLY sharp./
but for $90 you can't go wrong with the 50mm f1.8
And with f1.8 you can get the creamy bokeh everyone desires.

Just saying.
