It's annoying when computers just give up randomly... At least if you've fiddled with it or you have a virus then you get some kind of warning to back everything up...

Yeah, it sucks.
But I can still can get all of my data back from the live CD, so it's not so bad.
Gonna do a complete reinstall of Windows XP.
Seems like the best way to go when its that boned...
i personally like the challenge of fixing things but when so much is gone, its for the best to reinstall it.
Well, I reinstalled XP, and now everything is working well. It is SOOOO much faster than before!
Had to get some drivers, but that didn't take too long.
