OGG's actually the best lossy format overall out of those codecs.

I wonder if that wma support extends to wma pro. Because that's quite a bit better than normal wma. Probably not I guess.
Eh, apparently OGG is ≥ WMA 10 Pro. And WMA10 Pro is somewhat hard to encode (what do you use to encode it? WMP11/12?) and I don't think PSP has native support for it anyway (so you don't get hardware accelerated decodes).
@silver_surfer: anything in particular which causes the crash? Or does it do that when you just start up the app?

both.. I've tested it with my other PSP with CFW 5.00 m33-6
and it works flawlessly I think its not fully compatible with
CFW 5.02 GEN-A or GEN Firmwares in general like what matchung said..
