Quote:Before 2003, Square Enix didn't literally exist. Instead, two companies called Square and Enix did, both producing competing RPGS; Square with their famed Final Fantasy franchise, and Enix with their insanely popular Dragon Quest franchise. However, when Square came into financial difficulties due to the ill-fated Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within movie, the two merged and formed Square Enix.
The president who took Square down its slippery slope (Tomoyuki Takechi) left the company, and Yoichi Wada was promoted to be the new president of Square, and then Square Enix. Since then, many people have become more and more disillusioned about Square Enix's conduct and the games it produces.

oh well square already fall down to pieces since hironobu sakaguchi left out of square
Don't really care.
They don't make games for the PC, screw them. (I only game on the PC, not even much at that).
I like Square Enix only for FFVII
Oh well Theve accomplished some thing other company's have tried and failed at doing
And i love final fantasy 7,
to be honest i think they beat every other animation company out there today in the way of realism and design
Star Ocean 2 was for the win, every game in the dq series was for the win and final fantasy 8 9 and 10 were for the win.
Square Enix isn't a bad company, but they just haven't reformed yet. Honestly, Square Enix games dropped in quality after the merge, but then it started to go back up again. I actually liked FFXII a lot. After the loss of a director, a new director must get accompanied to the environment. Inevitably, during that period, there would be a loss of good games. FF vsXIII honestly looks like a quality game (and it'll most likely beat XII's Guinness Record for longest video game production time).
Good company or not, they have made some of the most memorable games of all time, with consistant high-level production rarely seen elsewhere. I've played Final Fantasy III, IV, VIII, X, X-2 and XII at the moment (although I only ever managed to complete X, lol) and I can say they have been some of the most engaging I've played as well. Call me unexperienced but its a matter of fact anyway..

Still can't emulate FFX properly. Pretty gay.
My new computer is easily strong enough... IF the emulator can use all 4 cores. The emulator seems to only be able use 2, and that's not enough :(.
EDIT: could also be because my GPU is poo poo.
Emulation is more than 10x in inefficiency?
