Well I went fron 2GB DDR2 533mhz to 3GB DDR2 800mhz and I'm really stunned, everything feels more responsive and I was amazed when I played Crysis Warhead, no more loading lags and when I typed exit it the console it took 3!!! seconds for the PC to go back to the desktop and be 100% responsive again!  Ahaa

So my advice to everyone: Upgrade your RAM if you haven't already, it's cheap nowadays anyway^^

cool!!! 3GB RAM is a minimum nowadays. But more than 4GB is a little overkill.
my PC got 4 gig ram,. went from 2gig to 4 gig,. was as happy like you are now,. ;p
Eww....Crysis ;)

im still on 2GB, ive been meaning to upgrade for about 6 months mow but nothing has come of it so far lol
Don't think you can upgrade laptop ram Hmmm
yes you can ...

planning to upgrade yeah :p

1gb to 2gb Hihi

(hey its the max my board can handle)
My new comp has 4GB DDR2-800 RAM. The laptop I'm currently on (since the shitty power supply on my desktop couldn't take my new quadcore CPU and blew up) has only 1GB DDR2-667 RAM.

Yeah, I'm finding that 1GB is really not enough, but 2GB should be enough for that laptop, since I don't plan on doing any gaming and encoding and stuff on the laptop, that's what my main comp is for. Will be getting a new box and power supply in 2 days.
Well 4GB is a no go for me, I have 32bit and a 512mb Graphics Card so I could have 3.5GB RAM max and I don't think that additional 512mb would make that much of a difference. Don't feel like going 64bit, this Vista installation runs for 2 years now^^ Gonna see if GTA4 performs any better now.... >_>

EDIT: GTA4 still runs not as good as it should...
lol y lappy has 3gb ddr2 ram

and my pc has 2gb ddr 2
4GB DDR2 533MHz On Laptop and Desktop.
