Alas, in the mood for FFVIII thanks to Assassinator's post I dug through my collection of games only to find I'm missing the disks!
Now it joins Gradius III & IV, Golden Sun, Banjo Kazooie (Though it was replaced) and KOF: NeoWave in my missing games collections. How dreadful!

Nnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Though I know Banjo Kazooie and Golden Sun aren't big downloads, though if you want to play them on the original console...
FF8 wasn't bad, just the animations took forever (need turbo button...).
I only don't want emulate FF8 because its pretty amazing playing the game without a broken battle transition!

I played the PC version. For both this (FFVIII) and FFVII.

That's why I never really summon GFs in FF8, besides for Cerberus (party Double + Triple) and Doomtrain (Deal all status effects). Damage GFs just aren't worth the time, except for the start part of the game, because at the start, GFs do WAY more damage than anything else.

Keep swapping between characters until you get limit break. Then it's g
g. Yeah, still takes a while compared to the old FF (6 and earlier) games.
That's why I run around with encounter none on a whole lot.
...why not get the iso and play on psp...
I know it is still an emulator but it's almost like the real thing...
or you know... nothing like the real thing, but still...
I went and replayed my entire favorite game (Megaman Legends 2) on psp and I found it quite enjoyable...

I would prefer emulator to the real thing most of the time. Emulator lets you do stuff the real thing can't, like saving states, and the fast forward button, which is extremely useful at times.

I could download the PC version but I've heard bad things about the PC versions.

There is a fix for the crahses now (i play FF8 perfectly) and the PC version is fine with Software rendering instead of hardware, which rendes the game unplayable. I beat the PC version numerous times
