Yes you have to rename the .dol  to boot.dol.

So it should be like this- SDRoot/apps/backuploader0.3/boot.dol
Ok I shall try that.. I doubt it will work I think something has gone rong with the CIOS
I don't see how the could be the problem unless you installed something wrong and got an error somewhere., so does your homebrew channel work and boot other things?
Yes, my homebrew channel loads everything but for some reason it don't load the disks. Maybe its the discs. Im using a pack of 50 tesco(supermarket kinda like walmart) DVD+R
Well, tell me the error it is giving you and I will be able to help you.

And if it is the disks giving you the problem, try buying a new type of DVD±R's (Sony/Memorex/HP/ect)
The Wii is gay chocolate and you guys should fudgeing stop playing it!!

JUST JOKING GUYS JUST JOKING.
My friend has a Wii too and he had the same problem. The problem turned out to be bad discs. Do you have any other discs that you can use? My friend used the Sony discs and have no problems now.
oh ok i will try some other disks thanks for the help lemon
Honestly, I notice that DVD+R's have a poo poo compatability rate with a lot of players/readers.  I have always used DVD-R's on all devices and never had a compatability issue.  If you have the homebrew channel already installed, make sure you install the little plugin that lets you even read DVD's for that matter.  The plugin is called DVDX stub and it can be installed via the homebrew channel.  Just some suggestions and or ideas, I have had my wii hacked for a while, so if there is anything I can help with, please ask =).

Interesting.  I believe it, I've just had really bad compatability issues in the past so I've stayed away from them.  I'll have to try them again sometime, I've just gotten used to the DVD-R's for everything I do anyways :)
