[Hello everyone. Im going to try to make my welcome back a good one.
Lets start off with this topic of election 08' and I know how politics get
on the internet. If it gets out of hand (Which, lets not let it. Wee are all adults here.)
its going to be closed or removed... All my subjects always seem to get frisky,
lets keep that in the past.]

[And also if this topic is already opened and I was blind to it.
Let me and know and Ill close this. ^^ Thanks.]

Barack Obama, John McCain, independent/third party or undecided?

Me?
I support change.
Barack Obama 08'.
hummmmm theres been pretty nasty flame wars over this subject. Many threads have been locked and people have gotten killed. I would keep EP off the subject.

Brak Obama For the win!!!
Has there been? Obviously I didnt see them...
Ill give it about an hour. If it goes rotten...
Ill know what to do.

Because in all honesty Id like to know others opinions...
And yours... is a winner. ♥
I'm complicated. I like Obama's policies, and agree with him on a lot of stuff. His policies on the war and immigration are close to what I believe. But his tax policies are communistic and could put my family in a VERY bad position.

My parents are 6 months away from being pushed into Obama's "wealthy" bracket, meaning they would be taxed almost 20% more. I don't think my dad, who has been clawing his way to the top for 30 years, should be taxed more for that.

That's why I'm voting McCain.

Holy dick, Brittany, when did you get back?!

That's a very understandable reason...
I know that many have worked to get to the top and I believe they
did everything for that... But for those with money why not give more?

For example. My family. Is in the middle class, including myself.
And for years and years its been nothing but struggle...
Its a very complex decision for him to make... but...

I agree with everything he says and feels that should be done for this
country. I honestly was not liking America, and those of you who knew me
knew this. And I believe this man can change my outlook on everything.
Hes an inspiration.

Perhaps he should tax everyone equal...?
Perhaps not? This is the only subject that makes me go
"hmmm" but it doesn't change my vote because you vote
what feels right for you, not what's right for everyone else.

[And hey! Good to see you again. Ive been back since yesterday. xD!]
im not american ..soooooooooooooooooooo

id vote for the void :D
Nothing I say here is meant to be inflammatory in any way, so don't take it that way.

The top 2 tax brackets (Obama's 2 heavily taxed groups) already pay for 90% of the nations taxes. Should they REALLY have to pay more? I mean, just because someone is successful doesn't mean they should pay for those that are less successful to not try to better their own lives with their own 2 hands.

My family has been the same. And wee're almost to the top without anyone taxing us less. I mean, this is America, where everyone has the same chances. And not to sound mean or anything, but it's all about effectively using the American opportunities to get where you want to go, which some do more than others.

Actually, that's a good idea. I mean, everyone is equal in America, they should be taxed a flat percentage, rather than some dynamic thing depending on how much you made that month.

Lol.

Also, you don't vote, you lose your right to bitch about the way the country is going.
