Yeah, I watched it. I like it. I would send it to 5 friends, but my friends are all angry cynical douchbags, and probably would delete it then rant at me for sending it to them lol

None will be taken. I opened this thread for opinions,
and all are valued and open for discussion.

metalgear08 Wrote:The top 2 tax brackets (Obama's 2 heavily taxed groups) already pay for 90% of the nations taxes. Should they REALLY have to pay more? I mean, just because someone is successful doesn't mean they should pay for those that are less successful to not try to better their own lives with their own 2 hands.

Being America, and being American I can see how hard it is to better your
life with your hands. I would love to be able to and bring myself into the
higher class, but with things like college being so expensive Its not as easy
as people wish it could be to move into that class. And I for one can not afford
that luxury. Many can and I know that, for those less fortunate I know there are
loans but me for example, Im nineteen and already in dept over my head...
I can't even think about adding more to that.

metalgear08 Wrote:My family has been the same. And wee're almost to the top without anyone taxing us less. I mean, this is America, where everyone has the same chances. And not to sound mean or anything, but it's all about effectively using the American opportunities to get where you want to go, which some do more than others.

I understand what you mean about the taxing.
And those with more not being taxed less is fortunate for making it that far.
But that all goes back to my above statement. How far can you really go
without the proper education?

metalgear08 Wrote:Actually, that's a good idea. I mean, everyone is equal in America, they should be taxed a flat percentage, rather than some dynamic thing depending on how much you made that month.

I agree, as I said that's the only thing that makes me go "hmmm"

Totally. xD! Lol.
The only thing that made me turn to the obamania is the fact that McCain chose palin for his VP. She is not the brightest person. i mean she makes Bush look smart. You can definitely tell that the republican party forced palin on McCain to get the uneducated population that base everything on looks. Also another thing that pisses me off about the republicans is how they base everything they do off their religion. Religion and the government should always be separate (i don't want it to be like Iran here). But yeah palin changes my vote for 08...

also about calling Obama a socialist. After seeing how wall street did when given no limitations i think the extremely rich should get some kind off punishment. The majority of the government's money comes from middle class families. That mean that the middle class is going to pay for wall streets stupidity.

I agree that religion and government should be kept apart.
With a wall at that. This is 2008 and there are so many
religions practiced in the US that pulling that topic into politics...
is just silly.

In my opinion, both VP's this election are blathering idiots in their own way.

My brother and I came up with a drinking game for the Vice Presidential debates. Every time Palin says something with religious undertones, or Biden uses a tired, stupid anachronism, you take a drink. Judging by how the it went, if wee had done it, wee would've been dead before the end of the debate.

Anyway, VP's don't REALLY have any say in policy, which is somewhat comforting...
not if the republican president candidate is knocking on deaths door...
i predict (god forbid) that McCain won't last 2 years. Then guess what were stuck with:

also i like Biden more than obama and McCain. You know the KKK and the white power organizations will be all over obama's donkey. Good thing the white house has good security.
