Hey guys,
basically I have the possibility to get a Slim for free by trading my Phat PSP, GTA IV, Assassins Creed (which I both don't play anymore) and a few old games at GameStop...
My Phat also isn't in the best condition, the Circle Button is loose and it has a scratch on the Faceplate so a new PSP wouldn't be that bad. The extra RAM and Flash space could also come in handy.... It's just the Slim feels so damn cheap and I know I will miss my trusty old Phat so what do you all think?
Yeah, sure...
preserve the fat... get the slim? :D
Trade it in!

I enjoyed the psp when i first got it (original phat 1.5 when 1.51 was released)  Then i got the slim when it was released and its like a brand new toy!

The screen is so vibrant and new, it takes a little while to get used ot the 'fischer price' feel because it is so light and slim, but it is my favorite hand held to date!!

I just got the extended battery pack (2200mah) for it and WOAH i left it in game at 333mhz over night just to cycle the battery to 0 after a full charge and i woke up after 7 and a half hours of sleep and there was still 11% of battery life left :D  I think that's enough to fly to/from mexico from chicago.
More than enough SchMilk :p

And go Slim.. Maybe its easier to do some hardware mods to it..
i agree with schmilk.. i got my fat psp when 2.0 was released.. then as soon as the slim was released i also traded my fat in for a slim and paid the difference.. no actually i sold it someone and got more then gamestop would give lol... plus i sold with no battery cause no way in hell i was giving up pandora! tv output is well worth it... sure if youve got a big tv like i got then the psp screen ends up in a little box, but you just zoom on your tv and it doesn't look too bad for blowing the picture up...  ive got the standard slim battery and ive left it on for 5 hours running at 333 and it was down to around 5% so that not too bad... but i also had the speakers and the screen on... all in all for me, the slim in an improvement over the fat, but saying that ive been hearing ALOT of rumors that sony may announce a new psp model or something else psp related @ E3 on tuesday @ 2pm est... whether its true or not nones knows yet but they was saying it maybe the psp2 on X-Play last night so wee shall see but id wait till then to buy anything...
I doubt that with the PSP2 but who knows... I really might go with the Slim... A Pandorarized DATEL MAX Power 3.6v 1800mAh Phat battery would work on the Slim, right?  I still have the very first Pandora stick ever created so I would just format it and put this Des... del Cementario whatever v5 on it?^^"
Yeah, all Pandoras work on all PSP's, it's just the newer Slims that can't MAKE Pandoras.

And I definitely recommend the Slim. It feels kinda flimsy at first, but you get used to it, and once you do it feels a lot better. Plus the buttons feel tighter and more responsive, the extra RAM is great, and the screen is much better. Plus, with the extended Phat battery, the PSP's life is almost 10 hours.

DEW EET FAGET. Hihi
SLIM for the win !!!    Madwin

I went SLIM months ago, and would never go back to a Phat now.
also, the slims dpad is OH SO MUCH BETTER (you can actually go diagonal!)

slim all the way, i never regretted giving up my fat
