I'll stick with my phat until it doesn't work anymore. I can't afford a slim.
the only thing i want differnt on my slim is the 2nd analog from acidmods :X maybe SOME day....

Agreed. I play Marvel vs capcom and tekken with ease now! Deffo go slim. I've still got my phat just in case.

My Phat also isn't in the best condition, the Circle Button is loose and it has a scratch on the Faceplate so a new PSP wouldn't be that bad. The extra RAM and Flash space could also come in handy.... It's just the Slim feels so damn cheap and I know I will miss my trusty old Phat so what do you all think?

Especially if you have UMD movies, the slim is awesome (i can now carry around fullscreen movies wherever i go, just encode them to the right resolution) and its features are really good. I spent ages saying how i wouldnt get one, that the phat was good enough. Truth is, it is, but the slim is like that little bit more

Mods are a hell of a lot harder.
PHATS are better for mods.
I would keep the PHAT and get a slim in case you need the PHAT for some odd reason :)
