I'm gonna do it, I'm really gonna do it!

I am going to get Monster Hunter for PSP, and play it for 3 hours, without giving up. My problem with those games is that I give up in like the first 20 minutes cause i get lost or something. Not this time though. I am gonna force myself to play through at least a bit of it, then make my decision if I like it or hate it.
You must be a noob at rpgs...
They are my favorite type of game!! I can't believe you would give up on them like that.

Anyway, good luck with your goal.

It's not that I'm a noob, it's that I have a hard time getting started. Once I get started and the game ramps up in pace, I do fine. But getting past the initial hump is hard for me.
oh...most rpg's generally take the same format of story and such. Once you've played through a whole one it is pretty to play through the rest. It's sort of like Anime where every plot is similar but with slight differences.

You must've been watching a lot of average animes >_>

like sensei said, you must watch a lot of average animes. And this game just has a steep learning curve for getting into it, that's why I have trouble.

hmm yeah.

I found the 'bump' in FFVII to be plain rediculous.

FFVIII = Best RPG Ever.

IMO, FFX was better.
