A sad day was upon us.

UPDATE
WiiBrew Wrote:Bushing has already announced a workaround (link temporarily not working) after just 6-8 hours of work! Big thanks to all involved! (Note that the workaround is not yet available publicly)

NES-Hacks Wrote:The June 16th update (v3.3) has been reported to delete Twilight Hack, however, it does not seem to do anything to the Homebew Channel yet.

Users are advised not to update until more information is known.

    Because unauthorized modifications
to save files may impair game play
or the Wii console, updating to Wii
Menu version 3.3 will also check for
    and automatically remove such save
    files.

Q & A

It says the UPDATE removes any edited save files… can you just recopy the twilight princess hack again?

Nope, you can’t, it won’t let you copy any edited file.

Will it delete Homebrew Channel?

No, it won’t delete it.

Is Homebrew Channel still working?

Some people say yes.

Do you have an estimate on how long it may take till I could update?

Just don’t update if you don’t want to.

Well guys wee won’t be FORCED to update till wee want to play the next BIG game on the Wii right?

The update isn’t critical at this time.

So.  Don't update your Wii, nintendo is fighting back..   I thought they would have done this a long time ago.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.  Embrace homebrew!
I don't think nintendo cares much about homebrew gams and app.

But I bet they did this because of the free VC games :P
if sony couldnt stop hackers from hacking the psp, i doubt a little game company like nintendo will :P

but still

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo
I was thinking about exploiting the hack, but never got around to it.  Have such little use for my Wii as it is, I don't think that would have brought enough life back into it for me to justify pressing the power button...
