Apparently, in a similar vein to the LCS reuse, theyve managed to combine the 3 checks and find a blindspot :P....i think, anyway
Hackmii Wrote:Congrats to tmbinc and thepola for finding a combination of two bugs in the code that Nintendo added that — when combined — allow us to fool their check into ignoring the TP hack.
Anyone know if you can reinstall the Twilight Hack if you have the Homebrew Channel installed via Waninkoko's Savegame utilty? Also, I've not read anywhere if anyone has saved the Homebrew Channel to a SD card and successfully installed it elsewhere. I have it saved to my SD card but have not thought to risk someone else's console.
why would you need TH if homebrew channel is already installed?

But just wait for a public release of the workaound, it will come

This'll sound like a stupid reason. I don't need the TH because of the HB Channel. I only ask to see if it could be done. I.E. Nintendo went out of their way to get rid of it and not allow it to be installed again, can that be defeated this way....just to see if it can be done. I don't want to guinea pig my console for the test until the work around is available. I think if that were the case you would have to backup the savegame via the utility but would still need HB channel to reinstall it. So, you're correct; there isn't a "real" reason other than the question of can it be done. :)
