I had been using this on Ubuntu Hardy, and was so impressed that I even defaulted it on XP! Must say that its really impressing! many new features added!

However.. with four tabs open... its hitting 100,000K mark in the task manager! So I guess, ff is as hungry as ever...

Why is everyone afraid of the word "beta"?

It is very stable. I've been using the betas for a while and have not encountered any significant problems.
almost 35% of my softwares are beta! I love trying them out and reporting (if I ever do that!)

The only time I'm afraid of beta's is when it comes to an OS, other than that I use beta's a lot. I use SVN/nightly builds for media players like VLC, MPC, and MPlayer. Yes Firefox 3 is very stable, even Firefox 4 is.
