what gen nano? if its the non video nano, you can still watch videos on it when you put linux on it

I still think you should've gotten a 5.5g Video, but oh well. I don't know of any hacks on the 3g Nano right now, but I'll check, hold on.

I've never shopped online nor do I have many options over here.
I love the look of the Nano and 4GB is plenty for my purposes :)
Seems iPodLinux isn't compatible :(

I got a nano 3g 8GB and an ipod classic 80GB last week, i wanted the same thing you wanted SS games + apps, but I guess its only for 5 & 5.5G videos.

No. It sets the background to the album art of whatever you're listening to. But like I said, big hacks probably aren't too far off :)
