Just recovered from not crashing my mac
I felt my macbook pro getting too hot so I was going into my Applications folder to open iCyclone, my manual fan speed manager, but I accidentally managed to select all and then open. There was no way back, all my applications opened. However, my mac didn't crash! yay, for 15 minutes I sat there wondering if it would recover soon or if I should reboot it. It recovered, but damn did that take long!

RE: Just recovered from not crashing my mac
I used to hack my school computers (windows) by scheduling all the applications
to open at startup. It would overload and fall into safe mode, where I could bypass
my school's security system. Roflmao. I was suspended for a week for changing the
administrator's password.

LMAO i worked at a highschool for a year setting up 350 workstations on windows 98 3 months before it was released thanks to my official beta tester final release :)

whati was getting to is wee used a device called a Centurion.  It is a small board that plugs into the floppy drive port on the motherboard and gives a pci slot cover with a key.  turn the key to locked and any system file changes that are made are temporarily relocated to a hidden partition on the harddrive.  So brainiac kids like your self would log in and see that they can delete anything and everything until windows crashed...BUT...once rebooted NONE of their changes are there!  MUAAAHAHAHAAHAAAAA

I ended up becoming friends with about a dozen students that helped work on the computers during summer through a computer program the school offered.  All of them were disapointed when they learned how wee stopped the hacking :)
