RE: Rcomage Helper
looks amazing!

i am not making nay theme's now but i could give some ideees ;)

-would be nice to have a xml editor,. its most likely people want to add new lines for: images, objects or animation's mebbe in a advanced setting,. with a pop-up editor window,..
-i dunno whot images are suported but i have always had the best results adding 8bit BMP images with rcoedit114 or rcoedit115,.

My workfow was
- first to add new images with rcomage in the xml
- then compile to the rco
- then load the rco in rcoedit and add the new images as 8bit BMP's or some 32bit BMP's
- then re dump with rcomage
- and then edit all the object's and animation's
- compile the final rco,..

;p

i had nvr got around working with png's,.. also i think bmp's got best quality
I also sometimes used rcoedit115 to adjust/tweak objects or animations i made/added with rcomage

If this interface/tool got xml support it would be allround ;p

this already looks very sleak Hihi

Make loads of $$!! it wurks!!

RE: Rcomage Helper
Very interesting project.  I look forward to future updates.  Madwin

Maybe you could add a feature that shows a mock xmb, and helps you place your pics to the coordinates you want.  (sorta like the one that patpat did, but more automated?)

Thanks highboy!   Yay

RE: Rcomage Helper
Looks awesome highboy!
Some additional personal suggestions:
  • For page/anim, they're somewhat hierachical, with the first level being the main thing (eg animation sequence, with animation events within, or a "page" with various objects within)
  • I think an add/delete button could be really useful

Thanks again for putting in the effort for all this :)

RE: Rcomage Helper
thanks alot guys appreciate the comments as i said i know nothing on the theme side so it really helps.i already started with the xml editor and wanted to sort something out with the page and animation tabs instead of looking at a long list maybe breaking it up somehow.

very good guy thanks again

RE: Rcomage Helper
Awesome, like v1 said a built in xml-editor would be great. Would definitely make adding image/animations. Also for the animation tab if it could show the object the animation that it is linked to it would be much more useful . Maybe something like this:

Mebbe also ability to save files as bmp/gim.. different file formats, I tried saving as .bmp with the copy function but I wasn't able to open it up in photoshop afterwards. :/

Adding these options and this tool could be an alternative to rcoedit/rcomage. Madwin
(no offense zinga Adore)

Edit: Highboy post came in before me, glad to see you were already planning these new features. :]

RE: Rcomage Helper
Looks great. Yeah breaking up the long list and allow us to see where each new place, animation starts and end etc. is really good. Looking forward to it.
