Hi all. What's happening? Figured I'd say hi to the people of the weirdest place for whatever this is on the internet :B

Long story short, life is good. School is marvelous, I've completely turned around from being a workaholic recluse to being surrounded by more friends than I've ever had before. It's amazing. And there's a girl. Oh god, there's a girl. I didn't know where else I could sort of rant like this without my close friends ringing me to ask what the hell I'm thinking, so bear with me.

I know I'll get laughs for this, but I actually met her online. I was trolling Mystery Google for phone numbers. I've been trying to meet people across the US in any way I can so when I eventually go road tripping across it, I have friends wherever I go. One person was this girl from Syracuse, NY. Never before have I clicked with someone this well. She likes all the same things I do, thinks the same way I do, and I just love talking to her. I've been texting her and talking to her on AIM for the last week, since I first texted her, and it's been awesome. I'm not the type to say "I'm in love" before I've actually met someone face to face, but I've come as close to that point as I can. And the weirdest/best part of this all is that she feels exactly the same way, maybe even more than I do.

I've had this feeling for the last 8 months or so that the East Coast is where I'm going to end up spending a large portion of my adult life. NY especially. And to have this girl basically just show up in my life at random reinforces that. I'm gonna be going out to Manhattan this summer, and when I do, she said she'd meet me down there, and I'm going to take her out to dinner like a normal person, and wee'll see where it goes from there. I've got a good feeling. A very good feeling.

This is good.
