Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

So recently i sold off my psp 2000 because

A) it was in a bad condition
B) I wanted a normal psp without the.... modifications i applied to the console

So of course, all they sell these days are psp 3000's and go's

the go was my first bet, but since it can't even be hacked at all i decided to go with a 3000

then i learned that the thing can only be partially hacked!! :( :(

so now I'm in a pickle, I'm psp'less and i don't even know where the scene is going anymore

i heard dark alex left and all, so does that mean NOTHING is being done to hack the 3000 and Go? Should i buy a 3000 or wait it out until the go is hacked?

Personally i need a review on what's being going on, it sucks that there's no DA anymore Sadist

heck, is the psp 3000 even worth buying for the amount it can be hacked with? @_@

go with the go. theres a universal hack, it works on all psps. its just not released yet.
that means, you should buy the go, and just wait it out.
(unless you really want a umd drive)

1: More than likely Freeplay won't release it. (It's a Grip Shift exploit...)

i want a go, but i only want it as an mp3 player. the only games i play are the powder toy, star wars battlefront 2, and project 3

other than that, i just use lightmp3

so the go does nothing for me yet...

psp 3000 can run a temporary custom firmware via tiff exploit.

the hack that freeplay currently has is user mode only so no firmware or hen abilities..unless he has more.

buy a 2000 on ebay or craigs list. they are cheap, around $115 from what i have been seeing...i kinda want a 3000 for the 'bright' screen...

GEN is doing ALOT in terms of development! From my understanding 6.xx has new blocks that make writing a custom firmware much more difficult, which is why wee are seeing 5.50 expanding.

No, bad idea.

Never buy something ~~waiting~~hoping for a hack to appear later. Firstly, what if it never releases? Secondly, since you're going to be waiting anyway, if you buy later, it'll be cheaper.

you have a point. but once the hack is released, sony will start selling go's with higher (unhackabe) fws, or new mobos or something.
