I would like to know the best way to set up a ftp so i can access my files anywhere because right now i can't do that, I have tried serv-u but the server never goes online it says it has but it never does. I am 100% sure i forwarded my ports so what seems to be the problem and also is there a better alternative

dude i got the server running using filezilla but again i got the problem where nobody outside of my house so say for example my cousin he can't see my ftp

nah it says something like it can't find the server

You probably need to forward port 21 from your router to your computer ip address that is running the server for outside people to see it.

And when you do that, you had better NOT have annonymous access because someday some port scanning script kiddy will find your open ftp and then rape your ftp butt.

Oh wait i have just got reports that its only logs in on firefox but even then it doesn't display anything... but its getting there
