How to fix an Infected Lagging Computer
Tools needed:
1.Registry Mechanic
2.Nod32 v2.70 note: Don't choose NOD32 V3 because you have to click every single virus to
delete it detects. And this version is easier to use, also has desame virus
definitions as NOD32v3
3.Hijackthis
4.Adaware
Search for full version download like Ex: GOOGLE BOX: registry mechanic rapidshare with rapidshare at the end of every search. So that you download The fully working version. Except Hijackthis.
1. Install Nod32 V2.70 after that, update your Virus definition files in UPDATE of NOD32 window, its like 9MB If you don't do this new Viruses won't be removed or detected. After completely updating, choose NOD32 in the NOD32 window then click SCAN, when it's scanning click STOP immediately you will have to do this so that when it scans it deletes virus automatically to do it, go to Actions Tab choose Delete radio box. After that click the SCAN AND CLEAN button. It will now delete all viruses in your computer. When scan is complete. Reboot to delete virus that are running that cannot be deleted. It will be deleted when Windows starts.
2. Install Adaware, after installing, scan again your system with this newly installed application, this will remove all trojan horses and spywares not detected by NOD32. when scan is complete change to another tab in the window to show what actions that you can do with the found trojan horses and spywares. Select all then delete. Exit Program
3.Run Hijackthis.exe. Choose Do a system scan only button. It will show a complete list of all programs and applications that will load during startup not shown on msconfig. tick or put a check to those that with suspicious virus names, also check the programs that you don't want to load, when you have studied all and have a final options done. Click FIX button it will delete all the ones you checked. Then it won't load or run anymore during windows startup. Exit Program.
4.Install Registry Mechanic note: won't fix problems if its a free or trial download from their site. After install, scan your computer it will find all problems in the registry-what is registry it is the windows configurations for all appz and hardware. you can see the folders when you click start button then RUN type regedit then enter. After scanning click REPAIR. It will repair all broken registry settings. Then Exit
5. Go to Registry, click RUN then type regedit then enter
Go to FOLDERS
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
-SOFTWARE
-Microsoft
-Windows NT
-CurrentVersion
-Winlogon
In Winlogon folder find Userinit in the Data of it make sure only C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe, with the comma if not Change it. It should not be like this C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe, EXPLORER.exe this causes system to lag because it reruns EXPLORER therefore causing My Documents to open during startup, or lags the computer.
Note: If My Documents still opens during startup run MSCONFIG in RUN then choose startup tab then remove EXPLORER.EXE
Then click NOD32 in the taskbar Icon choose MOD32 System Setup Then click Setup in General Tab Check Do not display NOD32 splash screen at startup then click OK. This will disable NOD32 Logo showing in startup. Minimize.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Restart Computer. Then all will be running smoothly without anymore lags and virus problems.
Note if it detects a virus it will be quarantined or just click delete if there is an option to make in the pop up of NOD32.
The last computer I fixed found 9000 virus, 201 trojans and spywares, 750 broken registry, and 20 startup applications fixed by Hijackthis.
Thanks for reading i hope you like my guide for fixing computer.

RE: How to fix an Infected Lagging Computer
Similar to the methods I usually use. I just go to pchelpforum.com with a few logs, then let the experts figure out what's wrong :D

RE: How to fix an Infected Lagging Computer
Also after fixing your computer, You can now update your NOD32 V2.70 to NOD32 V3.0.621.0. Uninstall the old NOD32 antivirus then install the new version.
Thanks
