Shameless Begging

Hey... if anyone has CPU usage to spare,
I'd really appreciate it if you downloaded this and ran the batch file inside of it in your computer's spare time
 http://www.datafilehost.com/d/aff77fec
It is tested via virus total to be virus free
 https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/b6828d...388487513/
and if you really want to know what it does,
which I guess you should since you're the one who will be running it

...I'd honestly appreciate it.

Maybe some day, I can pay you back for it some how...

EDIT:
updated it with a new batch file that automatically runs in "below Normal" priority and detects and sets the correct number of threads to use based on CPU cores

Also, all you did was scan the file's URL, which only looks for possible attacks from the site, not the file. It's actually detected as "Riskware.BitcoinMiner", but whatever. Anyway, why are so many new cryptocurrencies popping up? I thought since China deemed BTC to not be a real currency with any real worth, the idea would be dying out.
As far as I knew bitchina was still running strong

Alt currencies are really only popular because they can be traded for bitcoins to people who choose to put their faith in alt coins...

as for "fake" money 1 fake money (BTC) is currently worth 740 USD

RE: Shameless Begging

And that's exactly the problem, slushie. Last I checked, they were over 900, then there were two consecutive 35% drops, and people were losing their minds over it, now I find out that they are less than 800. Wee're talking almost 200 dollars in 2 weeks, that is the problem with cryptocurrency, along with the substantial difficulty that it  is becoming to mine, the price per coin fluctuates far too often to use as a reliable way to keep money stored in, and at first I thought I would exploit this in the "Buy cheap, sell high" mentality before I realized that it was completely fruitless to even bother, there is no pattern. Another problem is that since BTC is maintained by "normal" people, there is no failsafe to prevent a significant price drop, like the great depression; there were no precautions against it, and since BTC is controlled partially by hippies who want to use it because it is "off the grid" and not controlled by a governing, (and qualified, consequentially) hand, as soon as one of the main controlling groups gets larger in number, the others are going to leave it behind, because of the high school lunchroom effect. I give BTC another 10-12 years before it hits a snag, and everybody bolts the fudge off with their money, making the value of a coin so low that it would be pointless. If you really want money, get a job, or get a skill that will take you far enough to get a better job.
