XP x64 and Server 2003 are far more stable than Vista and XP :P
I use XP x64

Assassinator Wrote:Does have some convienient features though, like U don't even need to configure LAN anymore on vista, it does it for u altomatically.
I don't have to configure LAN in XP - just plug 'n play, uhh, use I mean.

Assassinator Wrote:XP has trouble running some DOS stuff as well. Some DOS stuff I've used can only be run propperly on real DOS, it screws up on any Windows.
They're usually really old though, so you can run DosBox...

XP does? I have to configure both sides, match lots of stuff and all that before i can LAN 2 XP computers.

I tried LANning my Xp with my moms Vista, and i only needed to configure the XP side. The other side worked automatically.

Aside from saving time, I cannot see any benefits for this whatsoever.

I already said that ;_;

Though I'm not sure if Dosbox actually is supported on Vista. Probably not >_>

Time saving, and very useful for people who aren't so good at computers, and can't do it themselves. And there's some other similar improvements over XP.

Don't mistake me for a Vista supporter, I hate Vista, but u have to look at the good points as well.

You're missing the point.

U said Vista has problems with DOS.

I'm saying everything else has problems with DOS as well, so it's got nothing to do with Vista.

RE: Computer Holy Wars
It actually turns out that the auto-confiugure of windows networking on vista has several security problems and may well be removed in SP1.

So anyone else got something they think is a good idea in Vista so M$ can remove it?
