Copy files from bad CD-DVDs.  «-  I have a friend that has a buttload of dvd-r that wee think degraded over time.  Just sent him that link and looking forward to the results!

I would suggest ISOBuster to recover data from CDs - it's designed for that purpose.  It can also retrieve data from dodgey discs which don't have an ISO layer, or multi-session discs with "hidden" ISO layers.

Meh, chkdisk...

OS Manager Works fine for extracting files, ive been using it on my PSX games from the time before i looked after my stuff...
