F34R, Administrator at irshell.org, has confirmed on maxconsole that Ahmen is indeed updating the greatest shell to ever grace a PSP memory stick: irShell !  Madwin

Just visited his private forum and in fact he recently updated it to 511se :) Completed missed that.

- IR remote was broken in 5.10se, it's now fixed.

I referenced maxconsole as the source, because it was there, that F34R confirmed it beyond being just a rumor or teaser.
