first thing i did was read the about...which apparently no one up until mysterysword did.

This is not an attempt at making a fake firmware...its someone *who kratosjohn apparently knows* who is upset that the 5.55 games have been cracked.

Interesting point of view i guess. games barely interest me anymore...I'd rather make themes in bed and PTF is a PiTiful Failure

RemoteJoy decided to stop working after a few more tweaks to the firmware patches. But here is a bit more proof. No, this isn't a hacked PSPGo. It's a phat. The only difference is that Kreator and I have added a "spoof" to make the phat use the Go's version of the firmware.

Oh, and I wouldn't expect a 6.10 M33. It's safe to say that D_A finally realized how pointless new firmwares were. For the last few months, almost anything he's done is just for attention. Other people have been furthering the scene, not the latest M33 (or GEN, to be honest) firmwares brought to you by the developers everyone holds as gods for no good reason. Other than for new games, which everyone just wants to pirate at this point, wee don't need any more than 5.00 M33/5.50GEN. Not to mention that no one wants to make more. It's over. 5.00/5.50 is the last bit you'll get, and the last that is needed.

I disagree with the author of the vid's point. First of all, an arms race is better (it forces Sony to add new things). And a new custom firmware will keep the PSP more alive (it forces developers to be more active, and think about adding new stuff to their homebrew, etc..). Not all people get custom firmware to pirate (some do, inevitably, but that's for all consoles, not just the PSP). Custom Firmware adds freedom with homebrew and custom themes that aren't dull like PTF themes, and interesting PSP features that are unavailable on official firmware. Blame Sony for people sticking to custom firmware, I say. Sony doesn't add anything interesting to the PSP, and they'd be better off having developers code "homebrew" that Sony can add to the PS Store. Sony needs to add things to their firmware so people want to upgrade, not games that require people to upgrade.

This whole thread and vid sounds like a waste, lol.

LOL ! OK... Unless I hear that from a reliable source, I don't think it's worth the 2 bites of bandwidth that it takes up on the web...
