In the next version of PRX compressor:
- perfect module type recognizing (status: done)
No more unregonized module types, like "Module type: (FFFFFF)" and get rid of numbers in module types
- 'Quick decompressor' (status: done)
The decompressor searches for gzipped content in a prx and save it to a specified file if found
- improved compressing with new 'ultra' compression level (status: done)
The used compressor is 7z from now, and the 'ultra' level gives you 4-5% smaller files than before. And you can use compression level '0' (no compression) just for fun. :)

I would like to implement the complete prx type list, which means the program will automatically choose the right key, depends on the selected module type (now you can compress only vsh modules). With this you can compress any type of prx without knowing it is vsh or firmware kernel module or a third party prx. But it's a lot of work.

The question is: do you need the next version now which is done now without this 'prx type list' implementation? In this case I will put the list thingie in the next release.

No, you don't have to, only if you want to free up more space in flash0.

About 4-5% per file. It's your decision to recompress the files or not.

I don't know, never tested. The new 'ultra' compression is just an option, you can select the level from 1 to 9 as before. If you could edit a PRX compressor created prx with takeshi's tool before, I think you can do it in the future.
