RE: Crack my riddle/encrypted message...
hmmm a WILD guess. . .

0x6 = #000000 so
#000000 = black right
black = lack of light
lack of light = SHADOW! lol

just thought of it when I went to open up PS and saw the shadow of a win XP folder icon

0011 0000 0011 0001 = 000000
0011 0000 0011 0101 = 000000
0011 0001 0011 0001 = 000000
0011 0001 0011 0110 = 000000
0011 0010 0011 0010 = 000000
0011 0010 0011 1000 = 000000
0011 0011 0011 0011 = 000000

17 0 17 1
17 0 17 257
17 1 17 1
17 1 17 272
17 16 17 16
17 16 17 4096
17 17 17 17

3 0 3 1
3 0 3 5
3 1 3 1
3 1 3 6
3 2 3 2
3 2 3 8
3 3 3 3

still makes no sense to me. im assuming these are colors but i can't see what i would do with them :/. im wasting away here trying to get this - the clue isn't obvious enough, from what i can see noone has even gotten close until you told us the 0x6 is a color.

RE: Crack my riddle/encrypted message...
It's the very tip of the iceberg to figure out #000000

this is binary (thanks to scribble for the suggestion), ignoring the 0x6 (which doesn't mean anything in ascii)
the binary number means
01
05
11
16
22
28
33

this is clearly a pattern
how did you get these numbers out of the binary?
sorry if it's a dumb question lol

oh got it, thanks lat :]

RE: Crack my riddle/encrypted message...
working out the numbers doesn't seem to be the problem - figuring out what to do with them is.
in saying that - colors are usually done with r g b and a. so consider this:
0x6 = 000000 = 6 bit
000000 + the binary numbers = 8 bit

so:

   r   g  b   a
#00 00 00 01
#00 00 00 05
#00 00 00 11
#00 00 00 16
#00 00 00 22
#00 00 00 28
#00 00 00 33

but still i hit a dead end - if these are colors - which i doubt, then what do they mean.

one last thing - that binary converter doesn't make sense. i worked it out manually and got the numbers i last posted, not the ones lat posted so unless im missing something those numbers seem wrong. im losing my mind trying to decypher this.

Always remember - Google is your friend :)

you converted binary to ascii and got something different?

i converted the binary to decimal and got nothing interesting, but i guess ill put it here in case someone else wants to chew on it :]

[I] 0011000000110001 » 12,337
[II] 0011000000110101 » 12,341
[III] 0011000100110001 » 12,593
[IV] 0011000100110110 » 12,598
[V] 0011001000110010 » 12,840
[VI] 0011001000111000 » 12,856
[VII] 0011001100110011 » 13,107

[VII - VI] » 251
[VI - V] » 16
[V - IV] » 242
[IV - III] » 5
[III - II] » 252
[II - I] » 4

also, looking at the layout of the numbers didn't reveal anything, but here. just in case, i guess.

Sorry if I didn't mention it earlier, but that pattern is going in the right direction...
Now combine that with the second clue you guys figured out (#000000=black)

Oh and eggroll...

That clearly says lag, but it has nothing to do with the riddle(or does it?)
