Very similar (in fact, almost identical when you consider it) to the PSP DRM hack...you first need a legit copy of the game, and then the DRM is stripped away and it is distributed in a different format, but universal

However, remember that VC games are not region free, although there are tools to patch them and i havent tested these tools
