Downgrade OFW 3.71 Slim

OK so I have this new Slim PSP right, its running OFW 3.71 firmware. My question to you is: How can I downgrade this? I tried pandora with my phat battery (dum idea). but where exatcly do I start with my downgrade process im so confused... i googled it and everything! Do I have to mess up my Phat battery to do this? or can i just use a slim battery, or mayby just a memory stick?

Some help!
