Need some help with gpSP

Does anyone know if you can disable the emulator's internal clock? My friend wants to play Boktai on his PSP, but unless you can disable the emulator's clock, the ROM won't work. It has to do with the ROM using it's own clock and such. If anyone can help me, I'd gladly donate a few EPigs
