Yes, you'll need MyPlaza v0.32 for it to work.
I didn't update it, and it didn't give me a compatibility error. :S

Will updating MyPlaza make me lose my settings, and do I have to deactivate it?
Nah, you can just overwrite with the newer files, then run the upgrade011.php file to upgrade.  All settings are retained.
