Watch White Album 2 when it comes out later this year, it has a very similar vibe to KgNE.

WA2 is pretty much the highest rated eroge at the moment, with a 95 median and stuff.  If they do the anime properly it should be good.  However WA2 is structured into something like a short 0.5MB Introductory Chapter and a very long 3.8MB Closing Chapter where the bulk of the story happens.  Don't really know how the anime would work around that, hopefully they don't try to drag the Intro Chapter into 12 episodes as that would be terrible.
