Lol.

Try from a cold boot (as in... cold, ie laptop hasn't been turned on for a least a few hours) so that you KNOW that nothing inside is hot. Perhaps stick it in hibernate so you can start it up quickly. Start it up and quickly check the temps - see what it says there.
Although it's possible for things to heat up really quickly (ie in seconds), it's probably unlikely to idle at 90C that quickly after starting up.

Also, what's the temp under load?
