quite an old anime there, well not really, 2005?, watched it as it get's released that time. (it's about mecha, i watched it for sure lol)

it's mecha's + religion + no original story (no identity)

just watch the OVA since it's a retelling of the series.

the mecha's are quite good in design though.

it's Genesis of Aquarion in the US.
