I would say, though, having broke down (and spoil it for whoever read the spoiler xD) both Animes side by side Im not sure what you were trying to say...

Wee both know they were done in sequence by the same Visual Novel and Animation studios so what can you expect?

The storys vitality is what kept it going through as many episodes as it did, and it worked (Kanon).

Some people would say Air is much too short........ but some people like it short and strong (or sweet)....... they condensed, and confused the story for viewers toward the end and while someone like me can take it for granted "that's how they wanted it to be" - naturally I prefer Kanons unrestricted story flow... and that flow contributes to the stories emotional aspects... a lot like how Clannad worked (especially After Story - which, by the way, together I rate higher than Air but its hard to choose over Kanon).

And no, I'm not trying to prove anything.......... but I just found it especially odd you served me with what you did instead of a story-related point...
