this sounds like a room escape game I played...

I would probably bash the hell out of the wall. Houses are constructed very poorly now a days



but in a room escape game, I would check the vents for keys and such. I would also check for tears or bumps in the wallpaper. I also might look for small holes and definitely check the ceiling
