a firnd of mine  works for Plymouth University. last year they gutted an old planetarium  they had that they  never used. inside they installed some kind of 360 degree 3d projector. it can show 20 minute films at a resoultion of something like 200 dpi. (the video doesn't really have dimensions because it's projected over 360 degrees) their most sickening flim is one from a spinning camera mounted on top of a car driving through a city. ech 20 minute video with surround sound takes up over 1TB of hdd space. i want a go in that!
