to be honest i wouldnt buy it because it was released in HD if im not mistaken and id wait for good HD masters... but saying that, it could take a while to have an HD release of this outside of Japan... really its your choice DTB is AWESOME in HD with all the contractors powers....

i like DTB. id buy it was in your situation, but then again im not so how do i know. Azumi has a good point about HD, however.

Darker than Black is frigging awsome. I just recently finished watching it and it completely amazed me. its gonna take a good anime to impress me after seeing this one. So yea worth getting.

But, HD is a waste of time IMO. It's completely lost on me, and don't say my eyes are spoon. The only difference is softer, more rounded colors; and I don't give a flying duck about that. Also, I don't have an HD player.

Unfortunately, my finances are a bit more critical than my on the fly math yesterday would have me believe, so DTB might have to wait.

Also, good anime = quality animation + enthralling plot + not so much of the "HAAAA-IM-EXPLAINING-STUFF-WHILE-I-CHARGE-UP-MY-UBER-ATTACK-THING-AAAAAAAA" that seems to happen so much in anime (like bleach and DBZ)

Boobs/Hawt female characters purely optional.
