That's interesting.  For the speed reduction, if they can supply an reasonable answer, it's fine here (ie, the ADSL here sucks anyway).
But if they're all talking about "fair use" and never giving anything solid, that's certainly interesting.
I guess everyone reads reviews then, before choosing (because all/most companies won't be able to give solid information)?  Of course, reviews can also be tainted...

have you tried sky UG? im with them at the moment, £10/month and have a 16mb down connection unlimited offcourse, get roughly 1.3mb down on average cause they said the phone line couldnt handle higher but yeah i get pretty decent speeds and i havn'e had anyextra charges and i do download alot!
