Do they conditionally give it to you?  Ie, that it's required for courses?  Cause if so, you could be stuck with it a bit.

damn schmilk that's epic. im going to definitely get one of those prisms, that will be trippy as hell lol.

and @ zinga, i need it for my land surveying class, were using them to 3d map a field. plus, a lot of the professors at my school are now writing special applications exclusively for the ipad. so theyre trying to make everyone have one.
