okay this is weird isn't all ipods supposed to work?

anyways... itunes will not read the device nor will any other program

and using the update thing doesn't work either...

so how does one reset an ipod?
try alt+ctrl+delete -» Processes -» then end task on any ipod/itunes program. (exp 'ipodhelper' or anything like that.

try putting holdswitch off and on then hold down the 'select' and 'play/pause' button until it turns off. or is it select and menu buttons.. iono one of them.
hey I was gona sa that! . . . andways what Ipod are you using.
Shuffle.
go to apple.com - they have full instructions for all there ipods, including hardware reset menus and hidden menus. and if that fails remember - google is your friend. :)
the reason is because your product was made by apple resulting in fail
@squee666: i take you hate apple then?
nah i just hate the fact that apple are overpriced and the fact that the ipod audio formats suck and video format sucks

it takes too long to convert a video with itunes and for the same file size you could get better quality with a converter

i mean just look 25pounds for a basic set of apple headphones???!?!?!!!!
yes they are overpriced but they do have the best mp3 players now.
i like my creative Microphoto and its half the price...looks nicer imo aswell (don't like ipod look)
