Well maybe I should have asked this a long time ago Ahhyes because if it's dangerous it's already had its effect on me!! Nosebleed well about a year ago I tried to open my psp to fix the analogue stick (and well I didn't manage to do anything useful for the analogue) and when I was trying to put the psp back together I accidentally put the screw underneath it in the back screw hole and since I thought that it was the right screw I stupidly Facepalm screwed it so hard that I broke my lcd from the inside and I've been using it like this for about a year now I wanted to see if it's dangerous and that is it worth buying a new on! cause my psp is nearly 3 years old now! Specky

its not dangerous..
maybe possible of getting glass cuts or something, but you have the case so you should be fine.

new lcds are like 20 bucks and are easy as hell to install, id say worth it.

by the way does your analog stick? is that why you were trying to fix it?
if so its most likely the spring inside of it, it needs to be re-set
As long as no liquid starts leaking out of the LCD it's fine. The liquid can be corrosive and can give you sore skin. If you get any on your hands just wash it off.
ZOMG you have radiation poisoning.  Microwave trick is the only option.
